Fire & Rescue
Sunrise Township purchases fire protection services from three volunteer fire departments. The northern part of the Township is served by the Rush City Fire Department, the central part of the Township is served by the North Branch Fire and Rescue and the southern part by the Almelund Fire and Rescue in Amador Township. Each department has a defined service area and there are mutual aid agreements between each fire department and all of the surrounding departments.
